The new owner of the property was looking to undertake extensive renovations to modernise the premises. Within the garage they located a licensed asbestos product (AIB) that needed to be removed to enable renovations within the garage itself and the rooms above. The initial project was planned and executed on time and within the agreed budget for the works which facilitated the commencement of the wider refurbishment. The client later discovered further Asbestos Insulating Board present within the main house and we were subsequently employed again to carry out sampling the material for analysis and confirmation of asbestos presence and subsequently as a result of a positive asbestos sample analysis, appointed to remove this licensed asbestos product for them as quickly as possible so that they could continue with their planned refurbishment program.
